What went wrong
The button prepared the data, but the submission ended without saving it or showing confirmation. The person had no way to know what happened.
What changes
The repair validates the fields, saves the demo request and checks that it can read it back. Only then does it confirm success; a failed save is shown as an error.
Success condition: after the repaired submission, a confirmation and a saved request show the same data. The record remains after reloading. Each submission replaces the last demo record.
